D. Automatically generated files that are required for your system to be used : Some files that are automatically generated during the build process, such as binary files or executables, are also necessary for the system to be used. These files should also be committed to the repository, so that the entire system can be built and deployed from the repository.

C. Output files, like files generated during runtime, are not needed to be committed to the repository as they can be regenerated by the system.
